Sea April 2020 now postponed - applications due 1st June

A twice-yearly writers’ residency based in Margate, Kent, designed to provide a thinking-friendly refuge for writers. Recipients will have use of a historic two-bedroom seafront flat in Margate, as well as a £250 bursary towards expenses and £50 towards train travel.

The forthcoming residency in April 2020 is available to crime writers.

The April 2020 residency will now be awarded on a flexible basis depending on the global situation. We will accept applications until the 1st of June.
